WHAT DOES
Although we label it “lightweight” this would be considered the normal for most brands. We sourced a 300 gram cotton jersey fleece that is meant to be the perfect everyday weight most of the year and great for layering in the warmer months. Then for added comfort we garment dyed it.

WHO KNOWS WHAT
Fabric is typically weighed by square meter or yard. So that means the weight of one yard is roughly 1lb. Our hoodies are roughly 1.85 yards (depending on size) so you can expect the completed garment to weigh in around 1.3 lbs.

WHAT DOES
Garment dye has many benefits but we think the most important is for shrinkage. Each garment is made to full form in white. From there it is dyed color of choice and is washed numerous times to achieve the consistent cozy hand while taking out all shrinkage and fading so there are NO nasty surprises after you wash.
